Welcome to the new MNRC Website! And many thanks to Kristie Wilder for our fantastic new look and to Janet Wood and Gloria Mundell who also worked on the Website as part of the Communications Committee. We are not 100% complete but far enough along to go public. Please look around. Learn about who we are and what we do. Check out the progress for our 2010 event or peruse the Hall of Fame. The 2010 Event planning is in full swing. The MNRC is looking for a few good volunteers. We are exploring adding two new non-Board positions similar to the Corporate Sponsor role—Safety and Communications/PR. The responsibilities for Safety include: being involved at set up week (the week prior to the event—this year October 3-8) and during the event (this year October 10-17), implementing our Event Safety Plan to ensure that no people or dogs are injured. For PR/Communications, we are looking for someone who understands website software and can lead the effort in keeping our website up to date, helping in any social networking platforms (i.e., Facebook), helping implement and use any other mass communication tools, and attending and helping at the annual event.
